CRAFTY KIDS! Art Day Camp with Mrs. McPherson is a vibrant and inspiring art-themed day camp tailored for young artists who crave more creative adventures, led by a professional art teacher. Designed for budding artists who have finished 2nd-5th grade, our week-long camp is a haven for hands-on projects and imaginative challenges in painting, sculpture, mixed media, and collaborative art, including a child-focused ART SHOW on the last day!

Addressing common questions and important details for CRAFTY KIDS! Art Day Camp.
What age group is this camp for?
Crafty Kids! Art Day Camp is designed for students finishing 2nd to 5th grade.
For the 2025 season, we have room for 20 campers at each session (morning or afternoon).
Mrs. McPherson will be there every day! As well as one fun, art-loving, super-reliable, background-checked teen helper.
What types of projects will we do?
Campers will engage in painting, sculpture, mixed media, and collaborative art projects throughout the week. This year, it's SNACK-TASTIK theme... think cheeseburger paper relief sculptures, plaster-cast desserts, painting with condiments, and more! Each child will create at least 2 art projects per day!
Do kids need to bring supplies?
All necessary art supplies will be provided, so no need to bring anything. Although we do recommend wearing your messy clothes!
Of course, bring your art smile and great attitude too! We ask for best behavior from all campers.
Is there a snack break during camp?
Yes! There will be a scheduled snack break each day. Please pack a healthy snack & a refillable water bottle.
Where is camp & what are the camp hours?
We are thrilled to be hosting camp in the Maple Valley Creative Arts Center - just behind Stockton's in Maple Valley.
2025 Day Camp runs Monday through Thursday, June 30-July 3rd, 2025.
